KOHLER, Wisconsin – April 16, 2021 – Destination Kohler is proud to announce two new openings at The Shops at Woodlake this spring: Awakening inside Woodlake Market, and Kohler Chocolates. Both venues will open in early May 2021, and will expand the brand’s artisanal offerings in the Shops at Woodlake.
Awakening at Woodlake Market
Press + Chill and Brewed Awakening are merging together to create Awakening inside Woodlake Market, featuring a revamped open-concept space offering cold-pressed juices, coffee, and a variety of beverages. Awakening is part of Woodlake Market’s remodeling plans, including an upcoming atrium refresh.
“We are thrilled to bring this offering to our guests, expanding our healthy culinary experience, while creating a fun and engaging shopping experience at any hour of the day,” says Ashley Kohler, Associate Director of Wellness at Destination Kohler. Awakening expands Kohler’s growing wellness offerings into Woodlake Market.
The refreshed concept inside of Woodlake Market will feature a barista bar and seating areas, couches, brightly colored tables and high tops, perfect for guests to comfortably enjoy refreshments while grocery shopping. “Awakening will feature a one-stop shop for residents and guests shopping at Woodlake Market for their healthy food, juice, coffee, beer, spirits and grocery experiences,” shares David Bugni, Woodlake Market’s store manager. The Awakening menu will offer Press + Chill freshly packaged cold-pressed organic juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, Brewed Awakening coffee, as well as a variety of wine, beer and spirits.
Craverie Chocolatier Café to Become Kohler Chocolates
Craverie Chocolatier Café, the beloved Kohler shop for all things sweet, will transition into Kohler Chocolates. The revamped space will feature a more immersive guest experience, while expanding Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates production.
“We wanted to create a space where we can produce Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates, all while enabling our customers to take an active part of the magic of making chocolate,” says Todd Mullane, Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates’ Director of Sales. The new space will feature an open kitchen where chocolatiers can be observed making their daily creations. Guests will still be able to take in the shop’s picturesque view of Wood Lake and relaxing outdoor setting. Inside, guests will continue to enjoy the cozy fireplace, comfy oversized leather chairs, chandeliers and mirrors.
Make no mistake, chocolate will continue to be the star, with new menu offerings including unique Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates creations, as well as ice cream, milkshakes, and signature pastries, Signature coffee, handcrafted hot chocolate, and wine. Breakfast and lunch food items are being discontinued. Guests can still partake in special wine and chocolate pairings or demonstrations from seasoned chocolatiers.
